Cell Phone Technician Repair Tools

Cell phone repair technicians have several tools that they can use when they are attempting to repair a phone.  Here are some of the tools most commonly used:

Cleaners – These are oxide dissolving contact cleaners. They are used to clean dirty pins in your cell phone.

Lamps – These are worn on the eyes while doing a cell phone repair so you can protect your eyes from any damage.

Phone Open Tools – These are used to open up your cell phone so that the repairs can be done, hence the name.

Programmers – In order to do cell phone repair it will require the cell phone to be un-locked. Sometimes it takes more than a simple cable to un-lock a mobile phone. Sometimes these tools can be the only way to repair “dead phones”, those that have quite working altogether. A 24xx chip reader can read and write EEPROM (Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) into a phone without problems. During a cell phone repair job the power that is gotten from a USB connection to computer port, serial port is used to read/write data.

Ultrasonic Cleaner – This device transfer’s ultrasonic sound waves into a cleaning liquid or solvent that will get rid of any embedded dirt on objects immersed in it. This cleaner is used to clear the PCB board of mobile phones.
